Help us redefine how the world defends its airspace.

Open roles

Technical Intern (Part Time)

You'll work directly alongside the founders building hardware, software, and whatever else needs doing. We care more about how fast you learn than what you already know.

The role spans hardware, software, and whatever else needs doing.

Comfortable around firearms and hands on work environments preferred, bonus if you've build and flown drones.

Competitive pay. 2 days/week, in office (San Francisco).

San Francisco

Hardware Engineer (Full Time)

You'll be working directly under our CTO with a fully equipped SF workshop on day one.

You'll design and manufacture turret components from CAD through CNC and 3D printing, integrate embedded hardware (Modbus, ESP32, Jetson), and write Python to connect systems and process sensor data. You work with firearms and kinetic systems daily.

Occasional travel to test ranges for live fire validation. Day to day is in the shop.

Competitive pay + equity. Full time, in office (San Francisco).

San Francisco

Frontend Engineer (Full Time)

Your interfaces sit between Jetson compute, radar feeds, camera streams, and an operator who needs to act fast. This isn't a typical frontend gig.

You'll build a desktop app (Qt/PyQt), browser based web app, and iOS mobile app. Data sources include: Jetson compute, radar, camera streams, and serial data from embedded controllers.

Comfortable around firearms and live test environments. Occasional travel to ranges required.

Competitive pay + equity. Full time, in office (San Francisco).

Why Sentradel

Over 90% of combat deaths in Ukraine are caused by small drones. In Colombia, dozens of military and police officers have already been killed by cartel operated drones, with hundreds more injured. Shahed drones plague cities across the Middle East hitting civilian and military targets indiscriminately. Across the world, these unjammable fiber optic and AI-controlled (GNSS denied) drones are making this threat cheaper, faster, and harder to stop. The problem is here now and it's accelerating.

We're a small team in San Francisco with a fully equipped workshop and a test range in Nevada. We build autonomous, low cost kinetic turret systems designed to defeat Group 1 and FPV drone threats, already having shot down dozens of drones.

We have active DoW agreements, commercial partnerships, and sales with leading Defense contractors. We're delivering hardware, running live fire demos, and iterating based on direct operator feedback from around the world.

The people who will thrive here are builders. You have side projects, strong opinions about how things should work, and a low tolerance for meetings that don't produce decisions. You don't need a manager to tell you what's important because you can see the problem yourself.

We move fast, we test constantly, and we're honest about what works and what doesn't. If that sounds like how you want to spend your time, we'd like you to apply.
